Summer 2015

Summer is 1/2 over and Kylie now knows my phone number and Greg can count to 15 and do his abc's -- going to chalk those up as our summer accomplishments and take anything else as a bonus 😁

Thank you!

I was holding Greg at dining table ... I asked DooDa to hand is his milk. Greg happily took it and I told him to say Thank you. Greg paused, looked right at DooDa and said "thank you" in the clearest voice that a 17 month old can use! And then we said "night night" and Greg said "night night" :-)

4

Well it's official - I have a 4 year old. Well technically not for another 53 minutes. This time 4 years ago I was definitely having awful contractions not well hidden by my subpar epidural. It would be most time to push and then within seconds become a mother, a parent, in charge of another human being. A human being who now, 4 years later, has turned into a little lady. A loving, caring, sweet little girl. One who loves to read, play, run, dance and laugh--oh the laughter is so amazing. Especially when her laughter triggers that if the little brother. The love they share, the compassion and caring nature she has for him is unbelievable and something I never could have imagined.  4. What an amazing number and we've only just begun to know what it will bring.  <3

Toothbrush

Earlier this year we had a date night. When we got home we saw her toothbrush was missing...I then saw it by the sink and asked grandma why it was in kitchen. She then told me that kylie had stuck the toothbrush by her bum after her bath. So we told kylie we had to put her princess toothbrush in the trash.  Fast forward to her dentist appointment this week. The hygienist asked kylie to pick which toothbrush she wanted. Kylie immediately said the princess one. Then she laughed said "I stuck the last one in my bum" The hygienist didn't really know what to say so I just played it off and said we threw that one away.  ...
