So kids have both seen script Ohio but not live and both of their minds were blown 😂😂greg kept staring saying my brain hurts watching this and Kylie said I can’t even write cursive and they’re walking it 🤣

Tuesday April 5, 2022 Tuesdays rainy weather changed our plans but ultimately it was France day! We ended up driving in the rain to Metz, France for the day. Lynn and the kids and her babysitter Kelsey all come with us for the day. We really lucked out and the rain was either just misty or stopped while we were exploring. Once we found parking we walked thru the cobblestone streets until we found the Metz Cathedral and a cute indoor market. We ordered croissants and eclairs from a Patisserie for a morning snack. They were DELICIOUS 🤤 I am basically ruined for eating croissants back home now! We went into the Cathedral which reminded us of The Great Hall from Harry Potter. The cathedral was so insanely beautiful. The Cathedral in Metz is one of the most stained glass churches in the world!! Sunday April 3, 2022 The kids slept in a little and then got straight to playing. Uncle Ryan took Kylie and Luke to the bakery to pick out some yummy breakfast treats including a pretzel croissant! It was SO good!  We all got ready for the day and took a scenic drive through the country to St. Wendel for their Easter Market. It was so fun! Lots of cute stands with shops and food and beer. We let the kids play on a playground for awhile and the dads took them for ice cream while Lynn and I got Gluhwein and shopped with Miss Hannah! We then went to see a castle! Burg Lichtenberg was so amazing - the tower and many places were still in tact and it was a beautiful day so we got great views!  From the castle we went to Peter’s for dinner not too far from them. It was a great restaurant with a bier garten on a small lake that had a play area outside for the kids! Thursday March 31, 2022 We left Columbus, Ohio at 10 pm after a several hour flight delay due to weather on the east coast. We missed our connection to Frankfurt that night so had to get a hotel by Dulles airport - we finally got there around 1 and settled to sleep by 130/2. There was breakfast at the hotel - Ryan and Greg ate in lobby and Kylie and I ate in the room. We got cleaned up and took an Uber to Kristi and John Slowinski’s house and got to meet baby Emma. So thankful they live by the airport and we’re home so we could spend the day with them and not at the airport! We hung out, had lunch and went out to dinner before they took us back to the airport! Our flight to Frankfurt (Friday April 1) was delayed about an hour but we finally got boarded and on the plane! Just as we were all resting and falling asleep they came by with dinner so we ate  a little (eating plane curry was not one Ryans best ideas 💩🤣) and then all got some sleep before a small breakfast.
